Senior Management
Prospect is led by a Senior Management Team:
Deborah Tosler (Chief Executive and Secretary)
Deborah has worked for Prospect for 12 years and has been its Chief Executive for 10½ years. She has 28 years experience working with socially excluded people. These include people with learning disabilities, people with mental ill-health, street homeless people, women fleeing violence, and drug and alcohol users. She has an MA in Community Care Management, is an NVQ Assessor and an adult trainer. In her spare time she enjoys mountain and road biking, skiing, photography, learning French, and raising money for local and international charities.
Diane Czako (Director of Care and Support)
Diane has worked for Prospect for 8 years, initially managing the Supported Living Services. Diane has either worked in or managed most of Prospects schemes and was promoted in December 2004. Diane is a qualified RNLD nurse and NVQ Assessor and has previously worked in a local NHS Trust. Diane lives with her partner and 3 adult sons. Diane enjoys all sports especially football, supporting Manchester United, listening to music and spending time with her family, and walking her dog.
Rick Worthington (Assistant Director)
Rick joined Prospect in October 2007 having spent over 22 years working in the social care sector in Manchester and London. Rick has a variety of experience of working with various client groups including managing mental health services both registered and supported living, homeless person’s hostels, criminal justice services as well as services for people with HIV and women fleeing domestic violence. In his spare time Rick enjoys spending time in the French Alps, he is a keen skier having spent 2 recent winter seasons in the Alps, one of them working as a chalet host. In the summer he plays for a local cricket club and enjoys playing golf.
Simon Churcher (Assistant Director)
Simon has worked for Prospect since 2001 as a Deputy Home Manager transferring from an NHS provider working in partnership with Prospect since 2000, then worked as a Registered Manager, progressing to managing the Learning and Development Centre and earlier in 2008 began work as an Assistant Director. Prior to working at Prospect, Simon has worked since 1991 in the health and social care sector. Simon is a qualified RNMH, NVQ Assessor and Internal Verifier; other qualifications include Registered Managers Award, Care of Older Persons, Mental Health and Distress, Health Promotion and has recently completed an NVQ 4 in Managing Learning and Development Provision. Simon lives with his partner and three children, enjoys Karate and other martial arts and is currently training to train others in martial arts.
Christine Leach (Finance Manager)
Christine has worked for Prospect for 2 years, initially as a Finance Officer. She has been its Finance Manager since August 2006. Before joining Prospect, she worked in investment accounting for the insurance and investment management sectors in Sevenoaks and the City. In her spare time she enjoys reading, listening to music, walking and travelling.
Joanne Herron (Human Resources Manager)
Joanne joined Prospect in June 2007, she has spent the last 7 years in Human Resources, is CIPD qualified and holds a BSc in Business Management. Joanne previously worked at a large Housing Trust in Redhill. In her spare time Joanne enjoys travelling abroad and socialising with friends.
Nick Hart (Quality Assurance Manager)
Nick joined Prospect in March 2008. He has 14 years experience in Quality Assurance gained across a range of working environments. The last 2 years have been spent in specialist further education and residential care environments, working with Blind / Partially Sighted and Deaf people. In his spare time he enjoys reading, listening to music (recorded and live), scuba diving and computer gaming.
Nigel Bolton (Business Development Manager)
Nigel joined Prospect in May 2009, having spent 8 years as Regional Projects Manager with the national housing charity Shelter, developing and managing a diverse range of services for offenders in London and the South East and children and young people in East London. Prior to this he managed housing advice and support services in the voluntary sector for over 12 years. He has a Postgraduate Certificate in Management. In his spare time he enjoys running, the theatre, visiting new places, reading and spending time with his partner.
