Prospect Housing and Support Services is very proud to have obtained a bronze status Investors in People award in 2010.

  1. Hours of work

Full time hours are 37.5 hours per week, head office staff work this Monday to Friday 9.00 – 17.00 with half an hour break for lunch.
Schemes operate on shift rotas.

  1. Staff Achievement Awards

Every year Prospect Housing and Support Services holds a Staff Recognition / Achievement event where staff, carers, services users and volunteers nominate colleagues for team, employee, and volunteer of the year. Nominees are invited to attend the event where the winners are presented their awards.

  1. Training and development - link to T & D page

Prospect Housing and Support Services has a Learning and Development Centre which assists the organisation in the planning and facilitation of induction, mandatory and development training.
Prospect Housing and Support Services provides induction training to all of its new employees and if required to those already employed within Prospect upon change of job role or location of work.

Induction Programme

The induction of new direct care staff is devised to work within the guidance of the Skills for Care Common Induction Standards.
Each member of staff is allocated a supervisor, who may also be a mentor for the induction award.        
All staff within the organisation attend the Organisations induction training which is a programme of training and learning experiences.
For further developmental training, the Learning and Development Centre sources appropriate courses.
